4 th Feb Is A Great Day To Start A New Writing Project !

I have still been delving deep into the mysteries of witch craft this week. While reading about the importance of the power of the moon and stars positions when casting a spell I came across an interesting fact.
Saturday 4th February is a new waxing moon. Yes I had never heard of it before either.
The moon orbits Earth and doesn’t cast any light of its own. The reason we see it is because the light from the sun is reflected off it. It takes 28 days for the moon to fully orbit Earth and during this time it goes through four main phases: the full moon, the waning moon, the new moon and the waxing moon.
The waxing moon comes between seven and fourteen days after the new moon.
The waxing moon is believed to be a time of great positive energy and brings with it luck, inspiration, courage and success.
So if there is a new writing project or novel you have been thinking about Saturday 4th February is your day to start it.

  1. Wow I never heard of the waxing moon before. This post brings me great pleasure though-that day is my birthday so anything that brings luck, inspiration, courage or success is much welcomed! So I am curious. Does your research into the mysteries of witch craft involve and "field" research? If so I'd love to read about it in a future post!

  2. Wow that a good omen for you Nick. I think you should better buy a lottery ticket on that day.
I was a weird child and have always been interested in the paranormal, tarot cards, palmistry and past lives from a young age. Years ago I did a hypnotherapy course and volunteered to be regressed to see if I could discover a past life. I saw myself standing in front of a Victorian brick house with a porch and a large bay window. My hypnotherapy instructor asked me what year I felt it was etc. I felt I was a tall man aged 40's. The time felt like mid 1930`s. She then asked me to look down to see what I was wearing which was dark trousers and black lace up shoes. I felt that the house I stood in front of was my home and that a wife and children waited for me inside. The experience really freaked me out because it felt so real. I have never tried it again since.
Over the years I have had some spooky experiences and once lived for two years in a house that had a ghost of a little girl who use to walk up and down the stairs at night, make tapping noises and also use to make my poor cat hiss at nothing in the corner of the living room.
Another story is that one night when I was sitting alone feeding my new born baby girl a blue orb floated across the room at floor level and the thought “its my granddad” popped into my head. As a child I remember him often smoking a pipe and over the years I have often walked into a room and smelt pipe smoke for a few seconds. Last year when I had a reading with a clairvoyant who told me that my daughter and I had some psychic ability.
But I have never looked at the power of spells before. To some it may seem sinister but really it is not when you look properly into it. Its a method of bringing positive things into your life through the use of coloured candles, herbs, crystals etc. Maybe it does not work. Maybe it is just that thinking positively brings good things into your life. All very fascinating. I have been trying a few little ones but have not all the materials I need yet. I will keep you posted :)
Hope you have a great birthday.

  3. Well, like you, I'm doing 100K/100Days so I'm in the middle of writing. However, I'm eager to have a boost day.
